New York-based artist and photographer inspired by the landscape and architecture of Europe.
"I believe that my Sicilian heritage has contributed to my fascination and interest in the multi-cultural architectural motifs which are especially evident in Italy, Spain, Portugal, France and Greece. My artwork is developed in my studio from my travel photographs and sketches. Several of my photos, which inspire my art, were taken while cycling through the picturesque and enchanting European villages.
Recently, my art has been directed toward local subject matter. Capturing the colors of New York and vicinity through its changing seasons has become a favorite passtime. Frequent trips to Fire Island throughout the year, have inspired my watercolor nautical scenes."
